Oil Man KZN was started in 1999, in Queensburgh, Durban, South Africa, by Stephen Scullard, with just one vehicle on the road collecting used oil.
By 2004 there were five vehicles operating throughout KwaZulu Natal, with each vehicle collecting up to 1000lts of used oil daily.
In 2009 two 5 ton trucks was purchased to cope with the longer trips around KZN, and the staff complement increased to 11. This necessitated the acquisition of new premises in New Germany.
Oil Man KZN is a recognised oil collector in the KwaZulu Natal province, with major food outlets making use of our services. Large retail stores, such as Pick ‘n Pay, SPAR and others make use of our services. Oil Man KZN is also recognised by the eThekwini Health Department, and regular audits are accordingly conducted at the business to ensure compliance.
